About Me

I'm an adjunct lecturer in religious studies at The University of Findlay and I'm a writer. My newest book is "Consider No Evil: Two Faith Traditions and the Problem of Academic Freedom in Religious Higher Education."? My current research interests include the history of science and religion, and the evolutionary origins of religion as they relate to my specialization in religious history.

My writing has appeared in The Religion News Service, The Guardian, The Chronicle of Higher Education, Inside Higher Ed, On Faith, and The Huffington Post.
