A former editorial intern, I returned to The Chronicle as a staff reporter for Vitae in October 2013. In my previous role, I covered faculty and administration for the Profession section, focusing on the value of visiting professorships, adjuncts' fight for health-care benefits and diversity in Ivy League administrative offices. Now, I'm writing about the academic job market and labor force.
Before coming to The Chronicle, I was a reporter down in the Bayou State, covering primary, secondary and higher education for a daily newspaper outside of New Orleans. I've also worked at The Times-Picayune, The Baton Rouge Advocate, and the Student Press Law Center.
