Advertised Salary: Minimum $48,333 ANNUAL (12 months)
Depending on Qualifications

Degree and area of specialization: Bachelor's degree. Master's degree preferred.

Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience: -Three (3) years of demonstrated experience in instructional design and instructional materials development, curriculum development and test development
-Experience with Learning Management and eLearning systems and production for distance education purposes in an academic setting.
-Experience managing projects, conducting needs assessments and risk management procedures to successful completion
-Strong written and verbal communication
-Ability to work independently, under minimal supervision

License or Certificate:

Position Summary: The Instructional Designer works in the UW-Madison Division of Continuing Studies and is part of the Educational Innovation Design and Development team. This position will work directly and support the Non-credit Canvas online course migration/conversation project, a time sensitive and DCS mission critical initiative.
