Degree and area of specialization: Masters degree required; graduate degree in Education, Business or related field preferred.

Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience: A minimum of 7 years leadership experience required. Preference given for relevant experience in higher education, including student affairs/services, career services, academic affairs, or general higher education administration. Relevant business or industry experience will be considered.

Demonstrated effectiveness in strategic planning, developing and supervising staff, depth of understanding of higher education and undergraduate student development. Commitment to working with a diverse population of faculty, staff, and students, and commitment to an inclusive culture of professionalism with a focus on education, learning, and development.

The Wisconsin School of Business is recruiting an Assistant Dean to lead the Wisconsin BBA undergraduate program office. In partnership with the Associate Dean, the Assistant Dean will provide strategic and operational leadership for the Wisconsin BBA. Such leadership includes effectively engaging a dynamic staff, developing innovative programming, enhancing visibility of the program to both internal and external stakeholders, and stewarding collaborative partnerships in the school and on campus that align with school and university strategy, respectively. In partnership with the Office of the Dean, the Associate Dean of the Wisconsin BBA, School and Campus partners, the Assistant Dean will also contribute to the overall growth of the Wisconsin BBA.

This position reports to the Associate Dean for the Wisconsin BBA and directly supervises the Wisconsin BBA directors of the BBA subareas: Academic Advising, Admissions and Recruiting, Career Services, International Programs, Student Life & Pre-College Programs, and the Business Learning Center.
