General Description of Position
Adjunct instructors to teach Manufacturing Processes theory and Machine Tool Lab (operation of manual milling machines, lathes, grinders), CNC for Automation (basic programming of CNC both manual and using MasterCAM software), Fluid Power-theory and operation of automation components, and automation design using relays, solenoids, and actuators, Die Design-design of shearing, blanking, piercing, cutoff, bending and forming dies and punch presses and die sets, Electrical Concepts for Manufacturing-Electrical Drafting including the layout of sensors, switches, relays, and electrical hardware used in wiring diagrams and schematics, Materials of Industry-properties, uses, specifications, heat treating, knowledge of tool steels, Programmable Logic Controllers-using Allen Bradley software-knowledge of logic functions and plc uses in machine control.
Follow safety guidelines and manage conduct of students as appropriate for the classroom and machine shop. Maintain regular attendance and punctuality. Ensure program performance and competency standards are met. Perform other duties as needed.


Minimum Qualifications
1. AAS Degree in Manufacturing Engineering Technology or Precision Machining and Automation Technology
2. 3 Years' experience in Manufacturing/Production shop environment operating mills, lathes, grinders and manual machines, CNC programming, MasterCam Software, and Designing dies.
