This is a full-time fixed-term position in the broadly defined area of Applied Psychology to teach undergraduate courses in the Psychology curriculum for the 2014-2015 academic year. Other customary faculty duties such as conducting research, supervising student research, academic advising, and participation in department activities are encouraged.

Minimum Qualifications:

• A Ph.D. in Psychology (ABD will be considered) within an area of Applied Psychology such as Clinical/Counseling Psychology, Neuroscience, Social Psychology, Health Psychology, or in another related area.

• Ability to teach elective and core courses in the curriculum within the candidate's area of expertise.

• A demonstrated commitment to quality undergraduate education.

• Ability to perform student advising and work cooperatively with other Psychology faculty.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Record of an active commitment to ongoing research program.

• Past teaching experience at the undergraduate level.

• Knowledge and interest in diverse cultures and populations.

• Ability and willingness to conduct research as well as supervise student research.
