This is a full-time tenure-track position in Psychology to teach Developmental Psychology and other undergraduate courses in the Psychology curriculum. Other customary faculty duties such as supervision of student research, academic advising, and participation in department activities are expected.

Minimum Qualifications:

• A Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology or a closely related field (ABD may be considered) with PhD required by date of hire.

• Expertise and training sufficient to teach scientifically grounded Psychology courses in Developmental Psychology.

• A demonstrated commitment to quality undergraduate education.

• Ability and willingness to conduct research as well as supervise student research.

• Ability to perform student advising and work cooperatively with other Psychology faculty.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Ability to teach other existing courses within the Psychology curriculum within the candidate's area of expertise, such as Intro to Psychology, Theories of Personality, Testing and Measurement, Psychology of Gender, or Brain and Behavior.

• Interest and ability to develop new courses that complement the existing curriculum, such as a course on aging or some other topic within the candidate's area of expertise.

• Record of an active commitment to research and scholarly publications.

• Past teaching experience at the undergraduate level

• Knowledge and interest in diverse cultures and populations.
