Opening Details
A fulltime (40-hour per week), 12-month year position as a Dishwasher reporting to the Mission Manager is available. The initial schedule is Tuesday and Wednesday, 7:30 am-4:00 pm, Thursday, Friday and Saturday 12:30 pm-9:00 pm, Off Sunday and Monday. Schedules are subject to change based on the needs of the department.
Responsibilities
- Operating, maintaining, and sanitizing the dish machine
- Cleaning and sanitizing dishware, utensils and cooking equipment
- Disposal of food waste, recyclable materials, and sanitizing all receptacles
- Assisting in maintaining safe and sanitary food production areas
- Sanitizing kitchen areas, serving lines, dish storage areas and mop rooms, as well as maintaining clean and orderly recycling areas
- Carrying out closing procedures as well as handling other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Kitchen experience and general knowledge of food service is preferred
- Ability to relate to customers and staff in a professional and effective manner is essential
- Ability to work without immediate supervision
- Ability to stand for long periods of time, lift heavy items and bending is required
