Job Summary

Commercialization Culture Manager will coordinate all marketing, promotion, communication and networking, events, and related education activities for C3 University Core programs across the state partnered universities, Responsibilities will including management of marketing materials and efforts such as website and online presence, marketing materials for education events, ensuring effective communication strategies to all participating university partners and stakeholders, creation of media content and other effective communication and education tools, and creating and executing education, networking, and commercialization events. Additionally, The CCM will be responsible for developing relationships and representing C3 in a manner that will increase commercialization culture across the state's participating university partners, which may include teaching, outreach, representing C3 at events, and coordinating partnerships and alliances with existing programs, resources, associations, and other stakeholders, internal and external to the state, that will improve commercialization culture in KY.

Responsibilities and Duties:
• In coordination with Program Director, develop and foster ongoing and mutually beneficial relationships with relevant stakeholders at participating KY universities in order to design, build, implement, promote, and manage the University Core component of the C3 suite of services to those institutions faculty, staff and students, as applicable.
• Develop, execute and oversee marketing and promotion related to commercialization education, events and related culture building initiatives and programs, offered to participating KY university partner on a regular basis.
• Ensure effective communication to universities and their stakeholders, including managing the C3 University Core website and online presence, social media, newsletter, reports, webinars, distributable materials and related efforts.
• In coordination with Program Director, help support well-known and efficient pathways to connect C3 University Core clients (faculty, staff and students at KY participating universities) to C3 University Core services and programs.
• Travel to and spend time working closely with stakeholders and inventors at participating KY university partners, aimed at increasing awareness and engagement with C3 mission.
• Create, coordinate, develop and execute periodic and non-periodic events across the state to celebrate and raise awareness related to university innovation and commercialization and entrepreneurship activities.
• Identify, initiate and execute alliances and partnerships with other resources, associations, groups, stakeholders and relevant persons aimed at raising the commercialization culture within the state tied to participating KY university partners.
• In coordination with Program Director, help support ongoing C3 relationships to ensure successful commercialization outcomes.
• Represent C3 at networking, educational, and other events in the Kentucky commercialization and entrepreneurial ecosystems.
• Assist C3 leadership in other ways deemed central to the overall development and ongoing success of C3 operations.

Due to the statewide nature of the job, working locations will vary as needs dictate. In general, the position will require travel to Lexington approximately 2-3 days/week to work from a HQ C3 office, and regular travel to stakeholder locations, including Frankfort and university locations in Lexington, Louisville, Bowling Green, Richmond, Covington, Morehead, and Murray.
