Job Description:The University of Florida, Department of Medicine, and Division of Cardiovascular Medicine is seeking an Associate Professor of Research with innovative leadership skills and good interpersonal skills to become an active and integral member of the Division. The division of Cardiology is an integral part of the educational and research mission of the University of Florida, College of Medicine. This will be a non-tenure accruing position. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Applicants should have a record of distinguished accomplishments and proficiency in clinical duties, administration, and clinical investigation to include mentoring new physicians, fostering a progressive and dynamic work environment, and promoting teaching and research. Responsibilities will be completely research based. Advertised Salary:Salary is negotiable, commensurate with education and experience.
Minimum Requirements:Applicants must have a medical degree and/or PhD and Florida Medical License.
Preferred Qualifications:Applicants must have an MD degree and/or PhD. Will consider candidates with a variety of experience levels and who have an interest in clinical research. Applicants must have excellent communication skills.
