Job Description:

The University of Florida, Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care & Sleep Medicine is seeking to recruit a Research Assistant Scientist for Dr. Borna Mehrad’s lab. The candidate will conduct experiments, will analyze data, and prepare manuscripts. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible to prepare data for the funded grants and generate additional data to submit new grant applications for the lab. The candidate will be expected to participate in grant application writing. The candidate is expected to publish one paper per year in high impact journals or 2-3 papers per year in medium impact journals. Preferred candidate will have a proven track record of contributions to research projects, be motivated, open to learning new and challenging techniques, possess strong communication skills and work well with other individuals on the research team.

Advertised Salary:

Salary is negotiable, commensurate with education and experience.
