Research Coordinator I
Job Description:Supervise a research team composed of paid staff, Graduate Research Assistants, and undergraduate volunteers. Assist with manuscript and report development. Maintain in-depth knowledge of developments related to various projects and coordinate changes to the protocol, IRB documents, provider and practice facilitator training, or procedures with the PI and / or departmental and college research administrators as indicated by UF policy. Respond to all emails in a timely manner. Ensure that study activities are implemented and completed with time frames to meet research objectives.
Establish community contacts that facilitate research participant recruitment and retention, post physical and online advertisements, and conduct preliminary screenings. Collect and enter data. Data collection will occur using in-person interviews, paper questionnaires, and computerized behavioral tasks.
Track project milestones; perform quality assurance checks; collect, manage, and report metrics of research success, including grants, grant dollars and publications; produce descriptive and inferential reports of outcome measures.
THIS POSITION IS TIME LIMITED.
Advertised Salary:Expected salary range $31,000- $36,000 annually
Minimum Requirements:Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications:Experiencing using online platforms (e.g., Qualtrics, MTurk) preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Psychology or related field; two years of relevant experience in human subject research; experience with project coordination, data management, and basic analysis techniques.
Experience with research conducted in community settings, interacting with disadvantaged or underserved populations, and NIH-funded projects.
