DIVISION OF GENERAL SURGERY
AST/ASO/FULL PROFESSOR
The Department of Surgery at the University of Florida is recruiting a tenure or non-tenure track surgeon to join the Division of General Surgery. A focus on colon and rectal surgery is required. The academic rank will be based upon the career stage and development of the candidate. This new physician will join the division’s two full-time and one part-time surgeons with a reputation of excellence in patient care. The Division has a long-standing commitment to both Resident and Fellow education and the new surgeon will be involved in this effort. In addition, applicants will be provided dedicated time to pursue academic interests.
Advertised Salary:Salary is negotiable based on education and experience.
Minimum Requirements:This position requires an MD degree or equivalent; board certification or eligibility in general surgery; fellowship training in colon and rectal surgery.
Preferred Qualifications:Board eligible/certification in colon and rectal surgery.
