Job Description:

The Huang lab in UF Health Cancer center at the University of Florida is currently accepting applications for entry- and senior-level postdoctoral/Scientist positions. The lab focuses on delineating the epigenetic pathways that regulate normal hematopoiesis and to further determine how regulatory networks are perturbed in anemia, leukemia, and solid tumors.

  1. Our current research focuses are:
Investigating the underlying molecular mechanisms that connect chromatin loops with transcription activation of the TAL1/SCL oncogene. We are also studying the role of CTCF-mediated 3D genome organization in enhancer/promoter interactions, oncogene activation, and chromosome translocation during T-cell leukemogenesis.
  2. Delineating the role of long noncoding RNAs in hematopoiesis and leukemogenesis. We utilize a variety of approaches including biochemical, proteomic, genomic, genome editing, mouse modeling, human primary cell system, and ESC system to study these questions.

This is a grant-funded position and is renewed annually based on the availability of research funds.
