Job Description:

The Department of Pharmacotherapy and Translational Research (PTR) in the University of Florida College of Pharmacy (COP) invites applications for a full-time, 12-month position at the rank of Clinical Assistant or Associate Professor (non-tenure track). The successful applicant will have a commitment to excellence in teaching, scholarship, and patient care. The successful candidate will maintain an ambulatory care clinical practice/teaching site in a family medicine clinic staffed by UF physicians from the College of Medicine Department of Community Health and Family Medicine. Responsibilities include the education of students in the didactic and experiential components of the Doctor of Pharmacy program; education of pharmacy and medicine residents and fellows; scholarly pursuits; and active participation in the department and College.

Advertised Salary:

Commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Minimum Requirements:

Applicants should have a Pharm.D. degree with 2 years of post-graduate training (residency or fellowship). Eligibility for Florida licensure is required. Excellent teaching and communication skills are essential. FDLE Criminal Background Check Required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous teaching experience, demonstrated scholarship, and experience in mentoring students and/or residents are preferred. For appointment as a Clinical Associate Professor, the applicant must have a record of sustained accomplishments in research and teaching.
