The Department of Mathematics and Physical Sciences at Louisiana State University at Alexandria (LSUA) invites applications for a tenure track position in chemistry. LSUA is a young undergraduate institution noted for its emphasis on excellent teaching. The department currently offers the BS in Mathematics and is petitioning the state to add the BS in Chemistry. The successful candidate will have the Ph.D. in Chemistry and will be adept at teaching a wide range of undergraduate chemistry courses. The search committee is especially interested in candidates who can contribute to the establishment of the degree and who are able and willing to teach both face to face and online classes.
