The Psychology Department at Webster University invites applicants for a tenure-track position in Clinical Psychology (specialization open) for the 2015-2016 academic year (beginning August 2015). A Ph.D. is preferred at the time of appointment, although consideration will be given to strong candidates who are ABD.
Strong preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated excellence in undergraduate teaching, licensed or license-eligible in Missouri, and an active program of scholarship with undergraduate involvement. Applicants should be qualified to teach Introductory Psychology, Abnormal Psychology, Clinical Psychology, and other courses in the candidates area of expertise.
This is a nine (9) month academic position with a teaching load of six courses per year (three courses each semester) and student academic advising responsibilities. Faculty members are expected to develop an active scholarship program in psychology that will involve undergraduate students. Faculty members are also expected to participate in department, college and university governance activities and other university events.
