Political Science: American Politics University of California, Riverside Department of Political Science. The Department of Political Science at the University of California, Riverside, invites applications for two open rank tenure-track or tenured positions at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor in the field of American Politics. The department will consider applicants in all subfields in American Politics. The department's interests include but are not limited to the politics of race and ethnicity, political institutions, political psychology, and mass political behavior. The successful candidate should be committed to excellence in undergraduate and graduate education and have a record or promise of research publication. PhD. is preferred; candidates who are ABD will be considered. Appointment level and salary will be commensurate with education and experience. These appointments will commence on July 1, 2015.
