The University of Dayton, a top ten Catholic research university, seeks an accomplished leader and executive to serve as the Vice President for Finance

and Administrative Services (VPFAS). The VPFAS serves as the chief business and finance officer for the University of Dayton. Reporting to the President and serving on the President's Cabinet, and President's Council, the Vice President's responsibilities include Student Accounts, Controller, Purchasing, Insurance, Internal Audit, Treasurer, Dining Services, Facilities Management, Human Resources and Title IX/Section 504 Equity Compliance. The VPFAS works closely with the Board

of Trustees and supports the audit, finance, and investment committees.
Founded in 1850 by the Society of Mary, the University of Dayton attracted nearly $27 million in fundraising commitments last fiscal year; the University's endowment is about $500 million. The university has an operating budget of approximately $400 million, with over $85 million in sponsored research. Recently reviewed by Moody's and S and P, the university maintains stable ratings of A2 and A respectively.
The next VPFAS will be an integral part of the President's executive leadership team, who will lead and embrace positive change and help facilitate the advancement of the University. S/he must be a consummate professional who values a team environment and works with colleagues in a spirit of partnership, transparency, and fiscal responsibility, driven by the Marianist charism of the University.
