The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at California State University, Fullerton invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track position preferably at the Assistant Professor level with expertise in ANALYTICAL CHEMISTRY.

Applicants shall have a Ph.D. in Analytical or Physical chemistry in addition to relevant postdoctoral research or equivalent experience. The candidate will be expected to maintain an active, externally funded research program involving undergraduate and Masters students, and be committed to excellence in teaching and mentoring a diverse student population. Teaching responsibilities will include undergraduate and graduate level lecture and laboratory courses in Analytical Chemistry, Instrumental Analysis and General Chemistry in addition to their area of expertise. The following required application materials must be submitted as pdf documents: (1) cover letter, (2) curriculum vitae, (3) a statement of teaching philosophy and experience that addresses teaching diverse populations (3-page limit), (4) a statement of research experience and projects specifically designed to engage undergraduate and Masters students and strategies to obtain funding, including anticipated equipment needs (4-page limit), (5) copies of relevant peer-reviewed publications, (limit of 3), and (6) names and contact information for three individuals who will send letters of recommendation.
