Counseling/Psychology: 9 month, Tenure Track position in the Counseling Psychology Program in the Department of Educational Psychology at the University of Oklahoma's Jeannine Rainbolt College of Education. Program Description: The Counseling Psychology program, APA-accredited since 1988, is a dynamic program with competitive admissions, small cohorts, and exciting opportunities to partner with local community agencies and other campus programs. Students acquire skills in a variety of counseling and clinical techniques through comprehensive training based on a scientist-practitioner-advocate model. Required qualifications: PhD in Counseling Psychology from APA-accredited program; licensed or license eligible. Preferred qualifications: The ideal candidate will have: (1) evidence of an active research program; (2) experience in undergraduate and/or graduate instruction and mentoring; (3) experience in clinical supervision of students in training, (4) evidence of external funding efforts, and (5) a commitment to further diversity and social justice efforts through research, teaching, and service. Responsibilities: Teach graduate courses in counseling psychology, conduct programmatic research, advise and mentor graduate students, pursue external funding, provide service to the University and profession.
