The University of Massachusetts Amherst has an opening for a Director of Corporate & Foundation Relations and is seeking a highly experienced and motivated individual to join its Development team as the campus continues its UMass Rising fundraising campaign.

The Director of Corporate & Foundation Relations reports to the Executive Director of Corporate & Foundation Relations and is a senior fundraising officer responsible for planning and implementing strategies to maximize the flow of resources to the campus from corporations and foundations to support UMass Amherst. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced professional to work collaboratively across the campus, in close coordination with faculty and staff as well as school/college/unit Directors of Development, to develop and increase corporate and foundation philanthropic investment.

Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree, with more than five years of proven, successful experience in corporate relations, corporate and foundation relations or a related private sector position; exceptional executive writing skills; excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and priorities; ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines; proven ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with colleagues and senior-level corporate executives.

Preferred Qualifications: Advanced degree

Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
