The School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) at Washington State University (WSU) is inviting applications for a full-time, academic year (nine-month), non-tenure-track position in Electrical Engineering at the Clinical Assistant or Associate Professor level, based in Everett, WA. This will be primarily a teaching-oriented position with an emphasis in teaching upper division courses in the Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) program. Job responsibilities include teaching five courses per year, some administrative duties, and other duties as assigned by the School Director. Applicants must have earned a masters degree (a Ph.D. degree is preferred) in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in teaching. Experience in teaching senior design courses and securing industrial sponsors for design projects will be an additional factor. The appointment will be a three-year renewable contract.

The School of EECS is the largest of six academic departments in the Voiland College of Engineering and Architecture at Washington State University. The School presently has forty faculty and awards B.S., B.A., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in computer science, B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering, and B.S. and M.S. degrees in computer engineering.
