Advancement: Thomas University seeks a Vice President for Institutional Advancement to continue the highly successful work carried out over the past eight years in fund-raising, alumni development, communications and university public relations. During this period the university has more than doubled its assets, enrollment, and programmable property holdings, completed its first successful campaign and launched a rapidly growing academic program in the People's Republic of China. This position is a member of the Senior Administrative Team and reports directly to the President.Thomas University embraces its liberal arts roots and heritage which dates back to the school's founding in 1950. Today, the university boasts of a comprehensive portfolio of academic programs in the professions and liberal arts. The Vice President for Institutional Advancement is responsible for all functions related to university fund-raising, the office of alumni affairs and the office of communications. In keeping with Thomas University's reputation and success for operating lean functions, Institutional Advancement currently has six staff members. The position requires substantive experience in fund-raising, preferably in higher education. A baccalaureate degree is required with preference for candidates holding an advanced degree.
