Andrew W. Mellon Chair in Philosophy

The School of Arts and Sciences at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey (New Brunswick) is pleased to announce the creation of the Andrew W. Mellon Chair in Philosophy. We seek to recruit a philosopher of great international distinction to fill this chair. The position is open to exceptional candidates in any area of Philosophy, but we are particularly interested in building on existing strengths of our Department of Philosophy in metaphysics and philosophy of language.
