The Department of Criminal Justice at Kutztown University invites applications for a tenure track assistant professor position beginning August 2015. Ph.D. in criminal justice, criminology or a related discipline is preferred; ABDs will be considered, with awarding of Ph.D, by Aug. 17, 2015. One year of college-level teaching experience required. Applicants must demonstrate a proven record of criminal justice scholarship. Teaching load may include Introduction to Criminal Justice, Introduction to Policing, and Research Methods. Candidates must complete a successful interview and demonstrate teaching effectiveness. Tenure track faculty are expected to show excellence in teaching, continued scholarly growth evidenced by research and publications and service to the department and university community.
