The University of Denver's Graduate School of Social Work seeks Three tenure-track faculty positions: Two Assistant and one Assistant or Associate Professor. We seek experience in teaching & research in one or more areas: community practice; mental health; family systems interventions; health; global practice; the human-animal bond & animal-assisted social work.
Assistant Professor must have MSW & PhD in SW or related social science by time of appointment, developing research agenda, & potential for excellence in teaching req. Two years post-MSW practice experience preferred.
In addition to the previous requirements, candidates for the rank of Associate Professor should have a strong record of accomplishments in scholarship, external funding, teaching, & mentoring masters & doctoral students. Candidates should have cumulative experience & background that is commensurate w/rank of Associate Professor; tenure considered at time of hire.
