The Arnold School of Public Health at the University of South Carolina seeks a visionary leader for Chair of the Department of Health Promotion, Education, and Behavior at the tenured faculty rank of Professor. An earned doctorate in public health, health education, health promotion/behavior, or related behavioral/social science discipline is required, plus clear evidence of leadership ability, scholarly productivity, and experience. The Department Chair is expected to pursue his/her own funded program of scholarly research, and to provide leadership in departmental research, teaching, advising and faculty mentorship.
