OSU Institute of Technology, is an institute of applied technology with the main campus located in Okmulgee and a Learning Site in Pryor. The institution offers advanced technological education programs that culminate in Associate in Applied Science and Bachelor of Technology degrees. The institution is a leading provider for technical education directed toward preparing graduates to successfully enter and advance in the workforce immediately upon graduation. The following full-time faculty position is open and can be filled immediately, Electrical/Electronics Instrumentation Instructor.
Responsibilities include designing and facilitating learning environments in applied science degree programs. The programs award a 75 credit hour Associate in Applied Science degree in Engineering Technologies with a specialization in Electrical Electronics and a 128 credit hour Bachelor of Technology degree in Instrumentation Technology.
The focus of this instructional position will be in the operation, design, installation, repair and maintenance of systems typically found in manufacturing, processing, and utility industries.
The main focus of this instructional position will be in the areas of industrial operating systems, industrial networks, frequency drives, SCADA systems and other related control systems.
Bachelors degree in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation or related discipline and a minimum of three years related teaching experience required, Masters degree strongly preferred.
