The College of William & Mary seeks dynamic, highly motivated, experienced applicants for the position of Data Manager at the Mason School of Business.

This position has primary responsibility for maintaining the Career Management Centers (CMC) and the Office of Alumni Relations (AR) effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting all career development and alumni relations activities through reliable data management, data research, market analytics and overall IT data support. The IT Data Manager will deliver system enhancements or updates, system maintenance, system training and provide technical assistance to users. The IT Data Manager will serve as theCMC and AR liaison for any new or existing SAAS, CRM or other software products related to the functions and work processes of each office.

 

Required Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in computer science, data management, business with concentration in IT or other information technology related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 
Previous experience with computer hardware and software applications and programs, web tools, networks, shared drives, viruses and troubleshooting
Several years IT related experience including leading and managing critical Information Technology software and hardware systems
Demonstrated team building skills, analytical and problem solving skills, effective communication and presentation skills, 
Experience with Excel (pivot tables), PowerPoint, Adobe, Word, graphics, survey tools and other software expertise
Experience with training and development in an academic setting. 
Demonstrated ability to work independently and use initiative. 
Must be detailed oriented and have the ability to manage multiple priorities and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience analyzing data, and working with MBA graduate students, alumni, and corporate cultures.
Prefer experience with MBA Focus or Symplicity software.
