Mechanical Engineering: The Russ College of Engineering and Technology at Ohio University invites applications from innovative researchers in the field of Sustainable Energy conversion and transport systems for a tenure-track faculty position in the Mechanical Engineering Department beginning fall semester 2015. Requirements include an earned Ph.D. or ABD in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or a related field, and relevant industry or research lab experience. Preference will be given to candidates at the Assistant Professor rank with college-level teaching experience and the desire and ability to support research center staff by pursuing significant external funding. Research accomplishments and plans should demonstrate an ability to both lead and collaborate on projects in the Ohio Coal Research Center of the Institute for Sustainable Energy and the Environment.
