Criminal Justice: Rutgers University The School of Criminal Justice of Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position for Fall 2015. Area of research specialization is open, but applicants need to have completed a Ph.D. (in a relevant discipline) before the appointment commences. Rutgers-Newark's School of Criminal Justice is strongly committed to diversity, so applications from women and members of under-represented minority groups are especially welcomed. Candidates should also be committed to teaching and mentoring a diverse student body at all levels (US News and World Report has ranked Rutgers-Newark as the most diverse US University for 17 consecutive years). Review of applications will begin in September, and the search will remain open until the position is filled. Applicants should submit a CV with a letter of application summarizing their qualifications and plans for future research.
