Job Description: The Enterprise Application Administrator is responsible for administering Enterprise Systems while ensuring reliability and performance. The Enterprise Application Administrator uses performances metrics, configuration management, testing, and problem solving skills to address any reliability or performance issues. These responsibilities require that the Enterprise Application Administrator work some evenings, weekends, and holidays and to be on-call. Duties: -Ensure the performance and reliability of Enterprise Systems -Monitors and maintains performance metrics for system features -Performs troubleshooting for hardware, software, and systems problems -Performs configuration, change management, and testing activities as required. -Consults users on technology changes that will affect work processes and stays informed of industry trends and best practices.
Minimum Requirements: A bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of appropriate experience. Appropriate college coursework or vocational\/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.
Preferred Qualifications Experience with Enterprise Software installation, configuration, and upgrades (Enterprise Software examples: Web Content Management, Enterprise Document Management, Enterprise Service Bus, ETL software); Proficient in Linux and Windows operating systems; Strong problem solving skills and high levels of verbal and interpersonal skills; Ability to complete tasks with minimum supervision outside of work hours and be the primary on-call on a rotating basis.
