Social Policy: Northwestern University's School of Education and Social Policy invites applicants for a tenure-track faculty appointment at the Assistant Professor level. We seek a scholar who specializes in policymaking and policy implementation with an interest in how policies affect the lives of people and in particular how people can affect policy. Scholarly emphases might include the study of the politics of inequality, immigration, the implementation and evaluation of social policies and programs, civic engagement, or political participation. The scholar should be able to teach graduate and undergraduate courses in policymaking and implementation. Scholars from psychology, human development, education, sociology, political science, anthropology, economics, family studies, public policy, and related social-science disciplines are encouraged to apply. Teaching and advising responsibilities will include doctoral students in the Human Development and Social Policy (HDSP) program, as well as masters and undergraduate courses.
