Faculty Positions for Fall 2015

The Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University is seeking applications for full-time, tenure-track positions: one in the area of Finance and one in the area of Strategic Management and a full-time tenured position in Health Care Management.  Candidates for these positions must have a Ph.D. or the equivalent degree or expect the degree to be conferred by the date of appointment.  The appointment will begin in August 2015.  Faculty salaries are highly competitive and are determined on the basis of rank and experience.

The Owen Graduate School of Management is dedicated exclusively to graduate management education.  It has an enrollment of over 500 full-time students in its full-time MBA, Health Care MBA, Executive MBA, Americas MBA for executives, Master of Science in Finance (MSF), Masters of Accountancy (MAcc), MAcc Valuation, and Masters of Management in Health Care programs.  The school’s 45 full-time faculty members are actively engaged in research, which is supported in part through the school’s four research centers.  Owen enrolls students from all parts of the U.S. and 35 countries.

Vanderbilt is a selective, comprehensive teaching and research university with ten schools offering the full range of undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs.  Vanderbilt enrolls over 6,800 undergraduates and 5,050 graduate and professional students from all 50 states and over 90 foreign countries.  Its faculty numbers some 3,300 full-time and 424 part-time and clinical members.  Vanderbilt’s 333-acre campus is located one and one-half miles from downtown Nashville.  Metropolitan Nashville is a diversified economy with over one million inhabitants.
