JOB TITLE: Assistant Clinical Professor/ Dietetic Internship Director
This 11 month non-tenure track clinical faculty position in the Division of Food and Nutrition Sciences is responsible for directing the College of Health Sciences and Professions coordinated dietetic internship program to be located at our new Dublin Integrated Education Center in Dublin, Ohio. The dietetic internship program is a candidate for accreditation by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics of the Academy for Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND). A primary initial role of the Dietetic Internship Director faculty member will be to oversee the success of the accreditation process and to develop a dietetic internship program Student Policies and Procedures Handbook. The faculty member then will be responsible for the planning, development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of the dietetic internship curriculum and supervised practice component. Once the program is operational, the faculty member will teach and mentor interns, collaborate with other didactic nutrition faculty, develop graduate curriculum and serve as liaison for facilities and practice sites. The individual will also assist in developing recruitment materials, strategizing marketing approaches and contributing other activities as required and service to the School of Applied Health Sciences and Wellness, the College of Health Sciences and Professions, and the university.
- Masters degree in Nutrition or related field (Ph.D. or Clinical Doctorate preferred)
- RD/RDN credential required
- Eligible for Ohio licensure
- Member of Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
- Career experience in food service and clinical nutrition and food service.
Starting Date: November 2014
Salary and Benefits: Commensurate with experience
