Develop, implement, manage, and evaluate communications and marketing for the MIT gift planning program for both internal and external audiences; engage planned gift donors and prospects across central development, schools, and the Institute; develop and implement a marketing plan through the use of direct mail and print media, e-marketing, and special events.
Bachelor's degree; 7+ years marketing/communications experience, 2+ years experience in gift planning or advancement communications; knowledge of gift planning vehicles and effective ways to promote them; event planning experience; excellent editorial skills; strong project management skills; strong interpersonal and oral communication skills; and ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically; Proficiency with Macintosh computers and standard applications and fund-raising databases; Graphic and web design experience and the ability to use technology to gather, interpret, and organize data preferred.
