Dean College has an immediate opening for the Assistant Director of Student Activities & Leadership Development/Resident Director who works as a member of the Office of Student Activities & Leadership Development team. The qualified candidate's duties include developing leadership programs that engage student's outside of the classroom along with managing the membership registration and development of all clubs/organizations. The Assistant Director also directly supervises the Student Programs and Recreation Coordinators. This is a 12 month full-time live in position and serves as a member of the Office of Residence Life staff as a Resident Director and also as a member of the Administrator on Call team.
Required Skills and Experience:
Master's Degree in Higher Education Administration, Student Personnel/Counseling, or related field required; 3 years, full-time experience in a programming environment; familiarity in leadership development, student activities, financial planning and program planning/implementation as well as have the ability to supervise professional and student staffs; strong interpersonal, customer service, communications and computer skills
Compensation: Unfurnished, on-campus apartment including all utilities (cable and internet included) with parking. Full meal plan when classes are in session and /or when Dining Services are open Use of all College facilities, including the fitness center, pool, and basketball courts.
