The College of Nursing (CON) is seeking an individual to fill the position of Administrative Director for CON Human Resources. The individual in this position directs all personnel management functions of a large complex organization. Serves on the College of Nursing Leadership team and works with senior leadership in strategic planning of administration and operations. Assists in preparation of College accreditation reports and area annual report related to Personnel. Works with Dean and Associate Deans on College-wide conflict management and resolution.

Specific Duties Include:
Oversee recruitment and hiring process of all positions.
Oversee payroll processing and payroll cost allocations.
Provide advice and counsel for employees, supervisors and administrators on Human Resources, policy, performance, discipline and grievance-related issues. Ensure compliance with University rules, State and Federal laws, policies and procedures.
Interpretation and compliance with all applicable collective bargaining agreements as they relate to the College of Nursing and its employees.
Generate and distribute a variety of reports from UC Flex and BW to assist in the efficient operation of each department and the College.
Coordinate faculty and staff increase processes.
Perform equity and merit salary reviews.
Supervise 1 to 3 full-time support staff and various student helpers.
Other duties as assigned.  


Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with 5 years experience; OR associate degree with 7 years experience; OR 9 years experience. Degree and experience must be in a related field and area. Experience may also require at least 3 years supervision.  


Ideal Qualifications: Experience in Human Resources field. Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills with a careful attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be highly organized and detail-oriented and will have experience working in a college or university. Preference will also be given to candidates who are proficient in the use of programs/software such as Word, Excel, and SAP/UCFlex and HRIS systems. Exceptional skills with customer service.
