Ohio University, established in 1804, is located in picturesque Athens, OH. The Marketing Department is seeking two positons to begin in August 2015.


Tenure-track Position

This position requires teaching and research interests in professional sales. Although all ranks and levels of experience will be considered, extra consideration will be given to experienced candidates (Professors, Associate Prof., or seasoned Assistant Prof.). The potential candidate, ideally, would take on the role of Academic Director of the Ralph and Luci Schey Sales Centre, which is considered one of the strongest undergraduate sales programs in the United States (http://aspnet.cob.ohio.edu/isms/tsc.aspx). Primary responsibilities may include teaching undergraduate and graduate level sales classes, conducting sales research, and advising sales certificate candidates.


Successful candidates will have an earned doctorate in marketing from an AACSB-accredited school. Candidates with earned doctorates in related fields will also be considered. Salary will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications. Review of applications will begin immediately and the position will remain open until it is filled. Tenure-track Assistant Professor of Marketing

Teaching and research interests in marketing analytics and/or behavioral research would be a plus. The department will be launching a new center in fall 2014, with the focus on young consumer research and analytics.


Successful candidates will have an earned doctorate (or nearing completion) in marketing from an AACSB-accredited school. Candidates with earned doctorates in related fields will also be considered.
