The Department of Operations, Business Analytics, and Information Systems (OBAIS) in the Carl H. Lindner College of Business at the University of Cincinnati invites applications for a full-time tenure-track Information Systems (IS) position beginning August 2015. This position is at the assistant/associate professor level and has been approved by the Dean and the Provost.
For this IS tenure track position, candidates must have a Ph.D. in Information Systems or related area in Computer Science. Candidates must be willing and able to teach business analytics, business intelligence, data management, database design, or data/text mining at all levels of doctoral, masters, and undergraduate programs. We expect all candidates to develop an independent research portfolio, in topics named above and seek the best journals in the field. In addition, we anticipate successful candidates will be working with doctoral and masters students on original research.
