This position will serve as an application administrator and developer in the delivery of campus Learning Management System (LMS). Works collaboratively with members of the E-Learning team, and associated project partners and customers. Assists in the planning, development, deployment, and maintenance of innovative applications that serve the Universitys business and educational objectives.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree.

Experience with the following languages/tools: Java Standard Edition, Java Enterprise Edition, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML, SQL.

Experience is programming custom applications.

Strong written communication skills

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience developing Sakai Learning Management System, Higher Education experience, Content Management.

Systems, Apache web server, Hibernate, Spring Framework.

Effective verbal skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of users and support staff. Ability to work under strict time constraints in mission critical situations.
