The University of Cincinnati is currently accepting applications for a Coordinator, Special Projects/Programs. Application processing--Process intake of applications to LCB graduate programs including data entry into ACT database, and Universis. Coordinate as needed with the registrar's office and the graduate school. Work with assistant directors to ensure smooth processing of applications for final review by academic directors.
Administration of certificate programs -- work with the assistant directors and the academic directors in overseeing the admission of students into certificate programs.
Initial processing of online prospects -- work with Associate Director of Recruiting to ensure that online prospect applications are coordinated and processed.
Student Inquiries--Interact with potential students regarding their applications (phone, email and in person). Interact with current students regarding general inquiries about programs and administration concerns.
Recruiting -- provide assistance to the associate director of recruiting. Assist with administration of LCB-GPO social media, work to arrange class meetings or lunches with potential students, and serve as a GPO representative in the recruiting of undergrad UC students.
Event planning - work with the assistant directors in the planning of student services events such as orientation, social functions and meetings.
Interaction with other departments on campus/LCB-- interact with other pertinent university departments and employees as needed on behalf of current and future students. For example, the registrar's office, the graduate school, ISSO offices, LCB academic directors, faculty and staff.
Miscellaneous -- other duties as assigned, working with GPO staff to ensure that current and potential student needs are met.
Job Description: Under general supervision from a designated administrator, coordinate a designated program or projects for a specific administrative, department or college unit.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with 3 years experience;-OR associate degree with 5 years experience; OR 7 years experience. Experience must be in coordinating projects and/or programs. Some positions may require at least 1 year of supervision experience.
