Washington State University Tri-Cities seeks applicants for a Vice Chancellor for Finance and Administration.  The appointment is for a permanent full-time, 12 month position.


Job Duties

The successful candidate will serve as the Chief Financial Officer for WSU Tri-Cities campus and facilitate the financial and administrative operations of the campus including responsibility for oversight of budgets, strategic planning, business services, facilities maintenance, grants and contracts administration, facilities development, long range capital planning, campus safety & security, environmental health and safety.  The selected candidate will be a member of the campus executive team and report directly to the Chancellor.


Candidates must have a Master Degree in a related field and a minimum of eight (8) years of progressively responsible accounting or business administration experience in a complex organization OR equivalent education/experience. Experience partnering with an executive team and a high level of written and oral communication skills. Preferred: Master Degree in accounting, business administration, finance or related field and Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA).  Experience in higher education, managing facilities and/or operations teams and project/building finance administration.
