Position Information:
The School of Business Administration (SoBA) at the University of California, Riverside is a nationally ranked and internationally recognized AACSB-accredited business school. With over 14,000 alumni all over the world, it is home to the largest undergraduate business program in the University of California system, as well as the A. Gary Anderson Graduate School of Management, which features MBA, Ph.D., Flex MBA, Master of Professional Accountancy (MPAc), and Master of Finance (MFin) programs. Under the general direction of the Director of International Relations, the Associate Director of International Relations is responsible for the development and implementation of strategies that will elevate the School of Business Administration's profile in the international marketplace. The incumbent is responsible for cultivating and maintaining strong ties with employers, alumni and professional associations internationally. The position works closely with the school's dean, development officers, faculty, and staff in managing and coordinating special programs that contribute directly to the overall development efforts for the School of Business Administration.

Minimum Requirements:
1. Education and/or experience equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in a related field.
2. Skill in evaluating and analyzing data and information to identify patterns, trends, and relationships, and formulating logical and objective conclusions or recommendations.
3. Excellent communication skills to independently write concise, logical, grammatically correct analytical or narrative reports, correspondence, or proposals.
4. Skill to independently develop ideas and present them in the form of written proposals.
5. Excellent interpersonal skills to interact professionally and diplomatically with external constituents, colleagues, faculty, campus administrators, and industry executives including demonstrated ability to be flexible, to use tact and diplomacy to reach desired outcomes.
6. Skill in working independently and following through on assignments and setting priorities that accurately reflect the relative importance of job responsibilities.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills with proven ability to strategize, prioritize, and multi-task to meet department goals/deadlines.
8. Demonstrated ability to effectively establish professional relationships with representatives of premier domestic and international industrial and government organizations.
9. Strong sense of ethical conduct that will inspire confidence and motivation with the proven ability to persuade colleagues and donor prospects, while maintaining confidentiality in all matters as they relate to sensitive donor relations issues.
10. Ability to work effectively with volunteers to achieve identified, mutually agreed to goals.

Preferred Qualifications:
1. Master's degree
2. Knowledge of UCR organizational structure, policies, and procedures
3. Experience in coordinating and integrating fundraising efforts with alumni, media relations and marketing professionals
4. Advanced computer skills to create documents, spreadsheets, and reports using Word, Access, Excel or other software applications.
