Visiting Instructor/ Assistant Professor of Agriculture
The Department of Agriculture at Eastern Kentucky University is seeking a talented and flexible visiting faculty member who can teach 4 courses per semester in the area of Agricultural Business and Economics. Courses include Agriculture Economics, Agribusiness Management, Agricultural Marketing, Agriculture Business Records, Agricultural Financing and Global Food Supply. This is a Visiting Professor (non-tenure) position with a one academic year appointment with the possibility of renewal, beginning August 2014. The individual is expected to demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills with undergraduate students and with the agricultural community and may serve on Departmental committees.
A terminal degree from a regionally accredited university is required for appointment at the rank of Assistant/Associate Professor; however, candidates who are "ABD" in an appropriate doctoral program will be considered at the rank of Instructor. Candidates with a Master's degree and at least three years of experience will also be considered.
