The Department of Sports Medicine and Nutrition of the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences at the University of Pittsburgh is currently seeking candidates for a position as a full-time Assistant Professor to Instructor to serve as the Clinical Coordinator for the Coordinated MS in Nutrition and Dietetics. The programs in CDN include an undergraduate ADA accredited Clinical Dietetics Didactic Program, an ADA accredited Coordinated Master in Nutrition and Dietetic, and Masters Concentration program in Wellness & Human Performance. Responsibilities include: coordination of supervised practice, clinical instruction and clinical practice oversight, teaching graduate and undergraduate courses, advising students, oversight of student research projects, provision of research support within the department and participation in department, school, and university wide committees/services. Candidates for the position must have a minimum of a Masters in Nutrition and Dietetics or earned Doctorate in Nutrition or other related science based degree. The candidate must be a registered dietitian (RD) with minimum of 3 years experience in clinical dietetics practice, have college/university teaching and research experience is preferred. The ideal candidate should be available to fill the position by September 1, 2014.
