The Arts and Sciences seek a Chief Administrative and Academic Affairs Officer to provide strategic guidance on the division's faculty, research, and administrative needs for both day-to-day operations and long-term strategy. The Chief Administrative and Academic Affairs Officer serves on the Executive Vice Presidents' leadership team and works closely with the divisional Deans and Department Chairs to execute the strategic direction of the division and implement practices and procedures to ensure alignment with the units' and the University's overall plans and goals. The Chief Administrative and Academic Affairs Officer will work with the EVP to ensure coordination with the constituent academic and administrative units of Arts and Sciences as well as the University's senior Administrative leadership.

The Chief Administrative and Academic Affairs Officer will design and implement the division's services for faculty and research officers. The Chief Administrative and Academic Affairs Officer serves as a liaison for academic and administrative matters for the University and collaborates with campus leaders to implement and measure successes and outcomes for the division. This position provides overall leadership and serves as the steward for the division, advising the EVP and other School leaders related to any policy and all program issues.

A bachelor's degree and an advanced degree preferred, plus a minimum of 10 years of executive management experience in an academic setting.
