The Department of Accounting offers an undergraduate degree as well as a Master of Accountancy degree and supports the accounting concentration in the MBA program. The Department is separately AACSB accredited. Excellence in teaching, research/publication and service is expected for all positions. MTSU seeks candidates committed to using integrative technologies in teaching.

Accounting – Two Positions available to begin August 1, 2015. (1-110005) Department Chair. Must qualify for Associate/Professor rank. Tenure upon appointment possible. Two years as department chair at an AACSB accredited university. Demonstrated successful fundraising preferred. (2-110010) Assistant/Associate rank. Doctorate in accounting (ABD considered if close to completion) from an accredited AACSB program. Applicants should have interest in cost/managerial accounting. Secondary interest in governmental and nonprofit accounting a plus. CPA preferred; other licenses a plus.
