The W.A. Franke College of Business (FCB) seeks an individual with significant business experience to serve as an Executive-in-Residence (EIR) at the Flagstaff Campus. The EIR is responsible for teaching primarily undergraduate courses in both Finance and Economics. This is a full-time, non-tenure track nine month faculty appointment at the Assistant Professor of Practice level to begin in January or August 2015.

DESCRIPTION:

  • Teach four courses per semester. Typically, this will entail undergraduate teaching in both the economics and finance areas.  Teaching in the MBA program is a possibility
  • Advise the FCB Dean on matters related to innovation in education
  •    Participate in finance and economics area, college, university and community service activities.

Minimum   Qualifications

      
  • Bachelors degree in finance or  economics and a minimum of 10 years of professional        experience in business, government or nonprofit organizations in order  to demonstrate experience significant in scope and duration in the fields of finance and economics

Or

      
  • A  Masters degree in any business discipline with a minimum of 8 years of professional        experience in business, government or nonprofit organizations in order   to demonstrate experience significant in scope and duration in the  fields of finance and economics
